Outfitting Your Team
Swim New Jersey has a couple of options for team outfitting. Swim New Jersey will produce the order forms, handle customer service for your parents & provide a timely fulfillment of all products. Swim New Jersey has the capacity to outfit your team from head to toe (Caps, suits, t-shirts, warm-ups, etc.)!
Team Sizing Kit
In this option we will send you a sizing kit for you to conduct your own team sizing session. We would expect your team to commit to a purchase of team suits from us prior to the shipment of the sizing kit. When you have acquired all the sizes and quantities of suits of your swimmers (or collected the provided order forms), simply give us a call and place your order. You may keep the suits (from the sizing kit) in the sizes you need and return only the suits that are not needed. We will ship the balance of your order upon return of the unnecessary samples and receipt of payment.
Consignment
If you prefer to maintain a small reserve of team merchandise and distribute as needed through the first few months of the season, then consignment of merchandise is an option. However, please note you will have the added responsibility of storing the merchandise and ensuring its security. Your swim club will be responsible for payment of any lost or stolen product.
If you decide that consignment is an option you would like to pursue, we will ship the requested merchandise for you to distribute and collect payment. The consignment period will be 3-4 weeks. Arrangements can be made for pickup of the unused merchandise and payment or you can ship the unused merchandise and payment to our office in Wall, New Jersey.
Availability of Product
Availability of products is always our first priority. Product availability is not a problem with Swim New Jersey. We are the largest Nike/TYR/Arena/Blueseventy Team Dealer in the NE and the 6th largest Nike dealer in the US. We are able to invest in more products and store more products than anyone in the industry. Occasionally back-orders will occur – these will be filled as soon as Nike/TYR/Arena/Blueseventy can supply. These items will be shipped directly to you from the Nike/TYR/Arena/Blueseventy warehouse. You will be notified of any delays.
Shipping
When you place your order, we will ship your order within 2 business days whenever possible. All shipments are made via UPS Ground and will take 2-7 working days to be delivered to the shipping address. Please note: delivery of custom or imprinted products takes approximately 1-2 weeks.
Promotions
We offer the Nike USS Swimming/TYR USS Swimming/Arena/Blueseventy and Swim New Jersey custom Team Sponsorship Program. Swim New Jersey pays for your team banners at no cost to you.
Team Pricing
We will serve you with team prices outlined in the Nike/TYR/Blueseventy/Arena catalog, with the Program discount that you are entitled to. They are Nike/TYR/Arena/Blueseventy/Swim New Jersey sponsored programs.
Year Long Custom Team Suit Availability
With a Nike/TYR/Arena/Blueseventy/Swim New Jersey contract Swim New Jersey will print and keep extra team suits, team tee shirts, team sweatshirts, team bags, team caps and team warm ups in stock throughout the season without an imprinting delay.
Frequently Asked Questions
1) What is the turnaround time to deliver once orders are placed?
Standard turnaround is 1-2 weeks for suits after the fitting date, and 3-4 weeks for caps with names. Rush charge is $35.00 that will allow you to get it in 1-2 weeks.
2) Can you be at our registration to sell/take orders?
No. However, Swim New Jersey can provide you with custom order forms, samples & sizing for all your items. All items, including training equipment will be on the order forms.
3) How do you handle delivery and distribution?
There are two ways we can handle delivery:
a) Ship suits directly to parents for an $8.00 flat fee. Swim New Jersey takes full responsibility for the products delivery.
b) Ship to team representative for distribution at no fee at all. We will ship a Master Excel Sheet to help distribute items. There will be no shipping cost added to the order
form. However, the team will be responsible for goods lost by team representative.
4) How do you ensure the correct size of suits for swimmers, do you have sample suits for fittings?
Yes. You can arrange for a sizing kit to be sent for everyone to try on and find their size. Parent representatives or coach will return that sizing kit after all swimmers are sized up and orders are taken, or the sizing kit can be purchased by the team.
5) When do parents pay?
Payment should be taken at the fitting for all items. Parents can make the payment directly to Swim New Jersey or to the team and the team can pay Swim New Jersey direct. For order forms that are faxed or mailed in, Swim New Jersey accepts check, credit card or cash.
6) In regards to ordering anytime during the year, how would a parent order an imprinted suit from Swim New Jersey if needed?
Individual orders for imprinted suits, and all imprinted gear are available during the course of the year! Simply call Swim New Jersey at 732-280-8804, give the name of your team and a representative will be able to assist in any ordering.
7) Can the team mark up the prices if desired for fundraising?
Yes. However, there are few issues team rep and board need to be aware.
a) Proper communication with the parents is the key. Because parents can find pricing information on Swim New Jersey’s website, we don't want to be perceived to be unfairly charging any team.
b) Team profits will be calculated after deduction of tax, bad checks, and other write offs (bad credit card, etc.). A check will be cut and sent to the team.
8) Are latex and silicone caps available, and what is the pricing for them? Can you imprint names on them?
Latex caps and silicone caps are all available from Swim New Jersey. Pricing for additional caps usually starts at $2.25 per cap (prices varies based on quantity, number of colors in logo, etc.). Silicone Caps start at $8.00 (largest quantity, no Nike/TYR logo, and one color ink) and go up. We will keep a supply of your team silicon caps in stock for individual orders all year long. We do have the ability to personalize caps for an additional charge.
